Where we’ve gone and where we’re going
December 21st, 2012

My last night in Boston! I can and can’t believe it. I still remember quite vividly my first day here: wandering on the MIT bridge at sunset, watching the sun through silhouettes of cars and buses. It’s been a crazy four years; I’ve done a lot, seen a lot, and met a lot of people. Cleaning out my dorm room, packing stuff up and sifting through the things I have acquired this semester, I just think about all that happened the past few months. Postcards from all around the world from friends abroad, little notes on post its from family and friends, name tags from fellowship and church activities. It still amazes me to look back to the beginning and to see how far we’ve come.

The people that have faded into and out of my life – I would never have expected it to have turned out the way it has! There are many who I have unfortunately drifted away from, but there are also so many that I consider as close as family and I have only met them within the past three years or less.

There are the friends who started as strangers; we saw and acknowledged each other for a while, but I wouldn’t have called us friends at the time, but then, our lives were thrown together and we’ve come so far!

Then there are the friends who started out close, and have grown a bit farther away. Stuck together freshmen year, but by sophomore year, unyielding schedules and new commitments have wedged their way between us.

And then there are the ones who were always there. The ones that clicked in the beginning, and just stayed for the ride.

A little bit of an intro...

This is my personal site to post some stuff – stuff that is so random I can’t really be any more specific. But if you care for photos of food, panoramas, my day, or just the thoughts that go on in my head, please stay!

I love to travel, bake, burn time on tumblr, read, cafe questing, and run around pretending to be a photographer. I also have a thing for Japanese, classical music, and food. Wherever I am and whatever I’m doing, I hope to do it with a smile, see new things, do everything, and just experience and take it all in.
