Fall weekend = success!
October 15th, 2012

This past weekend, I enjoyed myself quite a bit. I went sailing for the first time, and it was such a beautiful day, I’m so happy I went. I was actually quite hesitant of going…I had heard stories of my friends who have fallen into the Charles and I wasn’t too keen on that idea. I had never even been in a small sailboat before [as in one that is capable of capsizing]. But once I got out onto the river, I felt very excited. It was a beautiful day: cloudless, crisp autumn breeze, and lines of yellow trees along the Charles. There was also a lot of people walking on the esplanade for a diabetes walk. Overall, it was just a lovely morning.

I was by myself, but it was okay because I was just so happy and calm. I admit, I panicked a tad when the wind picked up and a duck boat was moving towards me, but it was overall extremely calm. I just thought, if only everyday could be so picturesquely perfect.

On a different note, this past week, I’ve been obsessing over New Heights. It’s been such a long time since I got kind of hooked on a group or single album. I’ve had their Something to Believe In album on my computer for a while, but I would only listen to Peaches and Whisper. I really like the rest of the album now, Nightmare in particular.

That actually happens to me a lot…I get an entire album for the sake of one or two songs, and I only listen to the rest of the album quite some time after [sometimes even years].

I also got to play football [sort of] for the first time after church. I know absolutely nothing about football [American that is] but it was fun. I am actually kind of sore today, but I’m glad I tried it out. I can’t really catch or throw [isn't that the whole game?!] but I can sort of defend or rush people.

A little bit of an intro...

This is my personal site to post some stuff – stuff that is so random I can’t really be any more specific. But if you care for photos of food, panoramas, my day, or just the thoughts that go on in my head, please stay!

I love to travel, bake, burn time on tumblr, read, cafe questing, and run around pretending to be a photographer. I also have a thing for Japanese, classical music, and food. Wherever I am and whatever I’m doing, I hope to do it with a smile, see new things, do everything, and just experience and take it all in.
