Long Time No Post…

So first off, yeah I haven’t been around. This place is dying unfortunately, but I’ll keep it around. I’m horrible with blogging and journaling…it’s quite unfortunate.

First off! I did update a bit since my last post…I added reviews for Azumanga Daioh and Ouran High School Host Club. There’s a review for Proposal Daisakusen there too…[wow has it really been that long?!]. I’ve also gotten to watch Nobuta wo Produce since my last post. No review on that yet.

Speaking of dramas and anime stuffs, I watched two movies – I Love My Sister [featuring Matsumoto Jun], and Just Loving You [featuring Tamaki Hiroshi]. They were both alright.

I also recently watched Bounty Hunter and How to Train Your Dragon – which I enjoyed immensely! If you haven’t already, go watch ^_^

Recent stuff…so my last day of class as a freshman in college is tomorrow. Crazy stuff that it is over already. I’m looking forward to going home, but I’m going to be busy with work and summer classes…ewie. I’m looking forward to next semester though! Taking lots of stuff….packed schedule…but I’m looking forward to it.

Addressing the plug, I spent like who knows how long reading all the steps in how the new iPhone 4g was leaked on Gizmodo. I saw Jason Chen’s video a while ago, but I didn’t realize it was such a big deal. I guess I’m not one to get so hyped on leaks, haha. My reaction was more or less “oh, that’s cool.” Haha.

I recently became obsessed with 誰かが私にキスをした Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac. It’s based off the book [which I've never heard of until now] but I’m so looking forward for this movie. Horikita Maki is in it, as well as Matsuyama Kenichi. Tegoshi Yuyua from NEWS is in it too, but I don’t know who he is really. I read that the movie is going to be about 40% in English and Maki speaks in English lots, so that’ll be interesting. There’s a trailer plugged ^_^ I really like the theme songs by Kylee – the girl is only 16. I feel so incredibly old…

Almost Spring Break…

**Note that I usually do not go on The Oatmeal…some most of their comics disturb me. Nevertheless, my sister sent me this one and I thought it was amusing.

So as I’m listening to Masquerade at the moment, I’ve been watching figure skating for the olympics. While I am very happy for Kim Yu Na and I’m glad she won, I disagree that she should have won by such a large amount. Asada Mao’s short program was better than Kim’s in my opinion [hence Masquerade], and although she did mess up in the free skate, she executed her difficult jumps…they both did amazingly.

Random update, but I added a review for Densha Otoko last week or so. I finished watching Proposal Daisakusen already >.> It took me 3 days to plow through; it was a cute series. Yamapi is pretty cool. I really like Hiraoka Yuta too. So far, I’ve seen him in Proposal, in First Kiss, and in a movie with Matsumoto Jun called I Love My Sister. Anyway, I think he’s pretty cool XD Too bad I haven’t seen him with any real main roles yet, ah well.

I have a lot of work to do for the coming week, but then I’ll be off for spring break. I want to watch Nobuto wo Produce in that time o.O I’m on a drama high lately I think. I heard/read about the storyline and it seems a bit stupid….but Horikita Maki and Yamapi are in it…It had a pretty high viewership too, so hopefully it’s at least funny.

I might write more here later, but that’s all for now.

So, I finally found a way to get the photos off my phone…email it to my facebook >.< So I did that. And here are my two [lame] photos from the Utada concert I went to last week. The security was so scary...[I know it's horrible since we weren't suppose to take pictures...but, it's Utada! Plus it was a concert...*sigh* ah well]

So, before I forget, Happy Chinese New Year! Yay for the year of the tiger ^_^ I came home for the weekend and had a nice dinner with my family. I also got to hang out with some of my friends today so that was fun. Panera is always yummy – mac and cheese! I went ice skating too – good stuff.

My friends and I also hit Red Mango. I got an original with mochi and blueberries. I love frozen yogurt, ZOMG, so good ^_^ Anyway, so it snowed quite a bit at home for me [not at school though >.> No snowdays *sigh*] but there were some giant snow piles in the parking lot…

Some other random stuff…my parents recently got obsessed with mochi >.< My aunt gave us one gift box for the new year, and my parents went out and bought like...6 more boxes @_@ They're so obsessed. It's good and all, but...I'm going to end up getting sick of it *sigh*

One other thing…my Japanese class is getting…progressively more difficult. We just started short past…just a bit confusing. But, I will study hard! Japanese is so much fun, I love talking to my friend/classmate in Japanese ^_^ とてもたのし！

Oh what else, I’ve made some time to watch a drama -電車男 // Densha Otoko. I’ve watched the single film version, but I figured I was bored and I haven’t watched anything recently, so I found the series on My Soju. Good stuff. I’ve watched about 7 episodes over the past few days. After I’m done, I plan to watch Proposal Daisakusen. Not sure, but it sounds cute. It had reasonably good viewings. After watching Nodame Cantabile, Hana Yori Dango, and Hana Kimi, I’m not sure what else could possibly top that, haha. Well, hopefully I get a chance to watch it soon. Yay
